It’s better to not know.

I glanced behind the curtain and saw all my heroes, ’round a table like Arthur’s Knights –  except they were shrivelled and limp, soggy muscles and flaccid, shameful gazes, glugging back IV bags filled with…I dunno, urine or something. GET OUT!
