In a recent sort out of kitchen cupboards we found not one but three egg cup and plate combinations bearing Mr Blobby’s image. Neither of us remembers ever having seen them before and, while we’ve lived here over ten years and they could have been lying at the back of the cupboard unregarded for years, I can’t believe either of us would have forgotten having acquired such horrifying artefacts! It did get me thinking that there’s probably a bit of Blobby memorabilia lurking in everyone’s household, which the inhabitants similarly have little recollection of bringing home. Very worrying!
